Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking professionals with the following skills and qualifications:- Fluency in Multiple Languages Proficiency in English and at least one or more local Ugandan languages (Luganda, Lusoga, Runyankore) or regional East African languages (Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Amharic). Knowledge of international languages such as French, Arabic, and Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience in Interpretation and/or Translation Previous experience in simultaneous or consecutive interpretation, document translation, or related fields is highly valued.
- Cultural Awareness We prioritize candidates who demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of cross-cultural communication.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills As an interpreter, you’ll need excellent listening and speaking skills, along with the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
